Katun Corporation Receives 2016 ETIRA Code Of Conduct Certification

Company Pledges to Adhere to Guidelines of European Trade Association.

Gorinchem, The Netherlands – (February 2016) – Katun® Corporation, one of the world’s leading alternative suppliers to the office equipment industry, is pleased announce that the company is compliant with the ETIRA Code of Conduct for the fifth consecutive year. ETIRA, the trade association of the European toner and inkjet cartridge remanufacturing industry, represents approximately 1,400 remanufacturers in Europe.ETIRA Code of Conduct Certification

The Code of Conduct represents good corporate behavior, setting out a number of general guidelines and principles adhered to by the user in their daily business. A key obligation is to refrain from trading patent-infringing new-build cartridges. Katun has been compliant with the ETIRA Code of Conduct since 2011.

What is ETIRA?

ETIRA is the Brussels-based European trade association of the European toner and inkjet cartridge remanufacturing industry. It represents the interests of the approx. 1,400 remanufacturers in the EU, and is the voice of the industry. Created in 2003, ETIRA now provides many kinds of services to its members and the industry at large: quality/standardization, legal/regulatory advice, public relations, member contact platforms, etc.

In order to guarantee their clients a high-quality, competitive and environmentally friendly product and service, ETIRA has developed a Code of Conduct for its full members.
